Cedric Hemmert is the founder of Hoptech. Founded in 2018, Hoptech is a retail consultancy firm in Melbourne specializing in data analytics.


Cedric is a Frenchman who began his career as a software engineer. He founded Hoptech when he saw most IT firms are too tech-focused. Through his company, he is able to meet the complementary needs of his clients.

WHEN THE PANDEMIC STARTED, HIS SALES PLUMMETED

As a non-native business owner in Australia, Cedric knew little about the Australian market. Plus, he doesn’t have experience in sales, so it was hard for him to reach out to new clients when the pandemic began.
